The services provided by MYR are unique in Moncton because they major on concrete, hands-on learning. Counselling is part of the programs, but doing is the major emphasis, and the client “does” with the physical presence and support of an MYR staff. You guide, mentor, and heavily support children, teens, and adults in your programs, thus almost  ensuring success. Whether children or adults, MYR clients must feel encouraged to practice new more appropriate life skills. At MYR people are shown, not told, how to make changes. The service provided by MYR is essential to our community as it provides some of our disadvantaged citizens with hope.
