In 2001, a study was commissioned
in Moncton to look at the issues of homelessness. The results
indicated a lack of services for youth in this area so MYR once
again broadened its complement of services to meet the needs of
this specific population. The word QUEST was used as an
acronym that reflected MYR's service delivery for these
programs: Quality,
Understanding,
Empowerment,
Self-sufficiency,
Transition.

"Before (MYR) not thinking about the future is what kept me going around in circles. I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel and it feels like I have a future, I now put a greater value on my life".
